CUSOM SOMA "Let's DO coffee" with Pre-Med Students

Campbell University Pre-SOMA organization is officially up and running. The SOMA leaders solicited great interest during the undergraduate organization fair in September. In conjunction with Pre-SOMA, they initiated a monthly “Let’s D.O. Coffee” program that is a mentorship program between current DO students and undergraduates. They share advice on medical school applications, MCAT, resume builders and promote the osteopathic philosophy. Their first “Let’s D.O Coffee” event was a huge success in introducing pre-med students to the medical campus and life as a medical student. They just completed their second event which included an introduction to OMM, palpatory skills and the benefit of OMM as a future physician.
